Refund & Cancellation Policy
Tabaa is a digital subscription: nothing ships and nothing is returned - here are the refund rules in full. Last updated: 2026-08-13.
This English translation is provided for convenience only. The Arabic version is the authoritative text and governs in the event of any discrepancy.
What you buy from Tabaa is a subscription to a software service that activates directly on your device. Nothing physical is shipped to you and nothing is returned, so goods-return rules and shipping or delivery fees do not apply here in any form. Cancellations and refunds are governed solely by the terms below.
What you are buying
The subscription gives you the right to use the Tabaa software for the period you paid for - a month or a year - per device. The service begins the moment it is activated. Because there is no physical delivery, there are no shipping fees, no goods return, and no delivery deduction in any case whatsoever.
Cancelling and stopping
There is no automatic renewal in Tabaa: we keep no card details and never charge you of our own accord, so there is no recurring subscription for you to cancel. The service runs until the end of the period you paid for and then stops by itself, unless you buy a new period yourself. If you want the subscription stopped before the paid period ends, message support and we will stop it for you. Note that stopping it on its own is not a refund - refunds follow the rules below.
Review window: fourteen days
For a first subscription - not for renewals - you may request a full refund within fourteen days of payment, as long as the paid period has not been largely consumed during that time. We do not ask you to justify your decision; telling us why helps us improve, and it never affects your right.
If the service does not work
If your subscription cannot be activated, or a technical fault on our side stops the service doing its job and we cannot resolve it within a reasonable time, we refund you in full even after the review window has passed. We ask only that you give our support team a chance to fix it first - most issues are resolved there.
Yearly subscriptions after the review window
After the review window, a yearly subscriber may request a partial refund for the whole months remaining. It is calculated by deducting the months used or started at the published monthly price, then deducting the discount you received for paying yearly, and refunding whatever remains.
What is not refundable
- The portion of the subscription you have actually used.
- A monthly subscription after the review window has passed, since its term is nearly over anyway.
- Renewals made with your knowledge after the first subscription's review window has passed.
- A subscription terminated for breach of the terms, or for tampering with or bypassing the protection.
- Any amount that never reached us, such as transfer fees charged by your bank or payment provider.
How to request a refund
Send your request over support WhatsApp or by email - both are listed on the contact page - and include these details so we can decide on it from the first message:
- The email address you activated the subscription with - or the supervisor account's details if the device is paired with a supervisor.
- The payment date and amount, and the last four digits of the payment method only - never send your full card number or its security code to anyone, and we will never ask for them.
- A brief reason for the request, plus any error message you saw if the problem is technical.
How long it takes
We reply with a decision within two business days of receiving a complete request. If approved, we issue the refund within seven business days at most. Your bank and the payment gateway then typically need a further seven to fourteen business days for the money to appear on your statement - that last stretch follows your issuing bank's own procedures and is outside our control.
How the money comes back
Refunds go back to the original payment method, in the currency it was paid in. We do not refund in cash, nor to a different card or account, and we do not convert a refund into service credit unless you explicitly ask us to. If the original card has been cancelled or expired, we work with the payment gateway to find a safe alternative, which can take longer.
What a refund does
As soon as a refund is issued the subscription ends: protection and syncing stop, and the device is unlinked from the supervisor account if it was paired with one. That does not stop you subscribing again later, but the review window is not granted twice for the same device.
Complaints and disputes
If our decision does not satisfy you, write to us again explaining your objection and we will review the request afresh. Please come to us before opening a dispute with your bank - settling it directly is faster for both of us. Any dispute is subject to the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the jurisdiction of the Egyptian courts.
